Silvermines Historical Society are pleased to announce that their current publication Mining the Past 2017 has won First Prize in the Nilsson Local Heritage Writing competition at Listowel Writers’ Week.. The presentation of the award will take place at the Official Opening Ceremony on Wednesday 31st May at 8pm in the Listowel Arms Hotel.
